Behind the flock
Three Vultures is the brain child of Dustin Cutright. For as long as he can remember, he has wanted to be a musician that changed the way people felt and listened to music, and one that also opened the minds of his listeners.
With Dustin’s atmospheric, edgy guitar playing combined with a raw vocal style, John Lane’s modern throwback to John Bonham in power and delivery, and the groove-filled, fullbottomed bass sound from Auston Dunnington, Three Vultures is a well-rounded rock band. Overall, 3V’s sound is the result of coming up in the angst filled small towns that litter the fallen Steel Valley. Dark and brooding, but vicious. Lashing out against a system infected with its own corruption and stale values.Taking influences from grunge, alternative, progressive, psychedelic, and stoner/desert rock for their music and life experiences for their lyrics, Three Vultures is a well rounded rock band.
Since tomorrow marks 2 weeks since the release of our latest EP, Porcelain Angels, we thought we'd share a few posts of some of the people we've worked with that made this thing happen! So first up, we gotta shout out Billy Duganne! Since working with Billy, he's become a close friend of ours and we're very appreciative of the hard work and love he put into this EP. Billy owns and runs Legion Productions and records, mixes, masters, and even writes for many bands and musicians of all sizes. We couldn't be more thankful for his professionalism and his help on this album. He added beautiful touches to these songs that we never pictured and it was just the right element to take these songs to the next level.Billy is also the mastermind behind Starletta. If you like the top 40, pop sounds of Justin Beiber and The Weeknd, but also love the 80's, then you better go listen to Starletta anywhere you listen to your music. And you better go listen as soon as possible if you want to be able to say in the future "Yeah I listened to him before he was big" because that shit has already gone viral and he's going to be on your top 40 playlists and radios here very soon, no doubt about it. One more thing this busy ass dude does is write and play drums for Edorra. Showing off his range as a musician and a producer, Edorra plays what they call "Youngstown Filth" and is a great mesh of deathcore, beatdown, and hardcore wrapped up in one. Alright, enough ass kissing for now, go check out Porcelain Angels and be sure to listen to Edorra and Starletta while you're at it! ...
